EDITION 003 The Forest of oldest trees

Lift the cover of The Forest of Oldest Trees, shrink down to scale, swing open the gate, and unfold a trail map that guides you through an otherworldly landscape of ancient trees. Spanning six continents and five millennia, the forest’s trees come in all shapes and sizes and are based on real living trees. Travel left to right, and cross geographical space from one side of the planet to another. Move front to back, and traverse time along color-coded tree rings. From the tiny gnarled 5000-year-old bristlecone pine to the towering 2000-year-old sequoia, from the sacred 4000-year-old kauri to the massive 1000-year-old baobab, wander from one storied tree to the next, discovering facts and legends about each one. Stay awhile. In this forest dwells the deep past and future worlds of extraordinary long life.

EDITION 004 Leaves

OSS Leaves dream of bringing paper waste back to life. Inspired by the storied trees inside the OSS Book, The Forest of Oldest Trees, the Leaves are cast specimens of fallen leaves gathered from ground surfaces in Singapore. Made from waste paper pulp, each leaf is a paper ghost of its origins, a page written from past lives with possibilities for future transformation.

The linens come to life from the whimsical world of our pop-up book, Edition 001 The Dining Room, where time travels across six cities and time zones along one fantastical table of treats and treasures. In each setting of The Dining Room, a miniature illustrated linen can be found. Made to human scale for everyday living, each OSS Linen can be used in eleven different ways for cover and for carry.
